      George died at the young age of 28. The exact cause of his death is unknown, but he was working as an ironworker in North Milwaukee at the time, a profession considered extremely dangerous. Between 1911 and 1921, approximately 1% of all ironworkers in the Midwest died on the job, highlighting the high-risk nature of the occupation (Source: ironallentownpa.org).
