  Parents: George Hewett Jr. and Mary Mckinzie. George died at the young age of 28. The exact cause of his death is unknown, but he was working as an ironworker in North Milwaukee at the time, a profession considered extremely dangerous. Between 1911 and 1921, approximately 1% of all ironworkers in the Midwest died on the job, highlighting the high-risk nature of the occupation (Source: ironallentownpa.org).
