  His parents were John Elmer Eul and Ida Irene Reilly. John’s birth certificate records his surname as “Eul,” his WWII draft card lists both Eul and Yule, and his marriage and death certificates record the surname as Yule. John served in the U.S. Army Air Forces, and later spent 35 years as an electrical engineer designing computer systems for NASA and the Department of Defense before retiring in 1986.
